Mobile Food Access Van
Transportation funding goal: $34,999
Having a dedicated Mobile Food Access Van will allow the community outreach hub to reach more under served and vulnerable individuals throughout the community, including those who lack the financial means and resources to obtain adequate food.
The individuals we serve do not have access to food on a daily basis. These individuals will obtain services from this organization through our Mobile Food Access Van. This will reduce some of the food insecurity within the community.
The organization currently provides hot nutritious meals, water, clothing, shoes, blankets, and personal items to the children, youth, adults, veterans, people living in the woods, to the homeless in the Kissimmee, Florida community, at no cost. Ensuring everyone has access to opportunities and resources regardless of their economic status.
Eliminate Hunger: Our "Eliminate Hunger" initiative is dedicated to providing nutritious meals with water every week to the chronically homeless children, youth, adults, veterans, those living in the woods in Osceola County suffering from food insecurity.
We rely on both financial contributions and in-kind donations to deliver balanced meals, clothing, and shoes to those in need. The individuals we serve are unsheltered--living on the streets, in wooded areas, or behind retail centers.
Our mission goes beyond simply feeding the hungry. We strive to create a compassionate and respectful environment where each person feels supported. We hope to help individuals move toward an improved well-being and a better quality of life.
